If you missed out on attending the Miami F1 Grand Prix, Jamey Price’s portfolio of the weekend makes for a nice consolation! Fellow photographer, Alex Marrero reflects on his favorite photos in the collection (available for viewing on Car and Driver):
Vibrant aqua blue, orange and white details welcome racers to Miami Gardens for the Magic City’s first-ever Formula 1 Grand Prix. What could be more Miami? Set in the Hard Rock Stadium Complex, the track is certainly something to marvel at. And if you didn’t have the chance to see it in person in April, photographer Jamey Price has got you covered! Look thru Jamey’s lens, which found itself magnetized to details, rather than scenes. Zooming in on race car drivers in action as they zipped through the 19-turn track and even on drivers’ as they burst with enthusiastic smiles in their cockpits, Jamey’s photos capture the essence and energy of the event.
